Monitor CPU temperatures and adjust settings to prevent overheating. Save your profile and switch to it before starting your gaming session.

To underclock with ThrottleStop, open the application and navigate to the 'FIVR' (Fully Integrated Voltage Regulator) menu. Adjust the 'Offset Voltage' to a positive value to reduce the voltage supplied to your CPU, thus underclocking it. Additionally, you can reduce the Turbo Ratio Limits to bring down the maximum frequency. Apply your settings and monitor the CPU performance and temperature to ensure stability and cooling efficiency.

Open ThrottleStop and familiarize yourself with its interface. Select a profile and configure settings based on your needs: performance, power saving, or custom configurations.
