To connect nodes in Yed, follow these steps: 1. Select the 'Edge' tool from the toolbar. 2. Click on the node you want to start from. 3. Drag the mouse to the node you want to connect to, and release the mouse button. An edge (connection) will be created between the nodes. 4. If needed, you can adjust the style, thickness, and other properties of the edge using the properties panel.

JacobEvans yEd has its pros and cons. The features are powerful once you learn how to use them, but I did experience some lagging during peak usage times. I think with further updates, this app has a lot of potential. For now, it’s a decent choice.
