The Universidade Estadual do Maranhão (Uema), through its Pró-reitoria de Pesquisa e Pós-graduação, inaugurated the III Seminário de Pesquisa do Programa de Pós-graduação em Educação (PPGE) this Thursday (11) at the Cecen Auditorium. This event provided valuable opportunities for the exchange of knowledge and experiences, bringing together faculty, students, and alumni around central themes for academic and technological development.

Keynote Speakers and Opening Remarks

The official opening of the seminar featured prominent figures such as the Pró-reitor de Pesquisa e Pós-Graduação, Prof. Dr. Marcelo Cheche, the Secretária Adjunta de Ciência, Tecnologia e Ensino Superior da Secti, Profa. Dra. Hermeneilce Wasti Cunha, the Director of the Centro de Educação, Ciências Exatas e Naturais (Cecen), Prof. Dra. Regina Célia de Castro, and the Coordinator of the Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação da Uema, Profa. Dra. Ana Lúcia Cunha Duarte.

"The realization of this seminar allows for the exchange of experiences and knowledge among researchers, professors, and students from various fields. It provides a space for critical reflection and the construction of new perspectives that can guide public policies and more effective educational practices," emphasized Professor Marcelo Cheche.

Launch of Significant Dossiers

The event also saw the launch of two significant dossiers. The Revista Cadernos de Pesquisa, from the Universidade Federal do Maranhão (UFMA), presented a dossier titled "Dilemas e perspectivas da avaliação da educação e regulação da educação superior: histórico e Conselhos Estatais." Meanwhile, the Revista Pesquisa em Foco from Uema brought discussions on "Gestão acadêmica e avaliação da educação superior: políticas públicas e práticas educativas."

"We at the Secretaria de Ciência, Tecnologia e Inovação hope that this seminar will be a landmark of inspiration and collective knowledge-building, and that we can leave here better prepared to face challenges and seize opportunities in the field of higher education," commented Profa. Dra. Hermeneilce Wasti Cunha.
