Steam's Top Ten Games for the Week Ending July 2nd
From Software’s Elden Ring continues to dominate the Steam charts, holding onto the No.1 spot for another week. The recent launch of the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion, coupled with a 30 per cent price cut, has helped the RPG maintain its position at the top. The DLC itself has slipped to No.5, but the main game remains strong.
Counter-Strike 2 has climbed up one spot to second place, while Forza Horizon 4 has made a significant jump to fourth place after receiving an 80 per cent price reduction in the latest Steam Sale. It seems that players are still enjoying the racing experience, as it makes a return to the Top Ten after almost a year.
Baldur’s Gate 3 has surged up the rankings, moving 16 places to sixth position thanks to a 20 per cent price drop and positive reviews. PUBG Battlegrounds has dropped to seventh place, while Chained Together holds steady at eighth.
The Steam Sale has also brought Cyberpunk 2077 back into the Top Ten, jumping from 65th to ninth place with a 50 per cent discount. Apex Legends rounds off the list at tenth, climbing from 27th place following an update introducing four-player teams.
