God of War Ragnarok PC Features

As detailed in a recent blog post, two noteworthy settings will be introduced alongside the PC release: Reduced Puzzle Hints and Cinematic Audio Description. The former aims to enhance the gaming experience by minimizing the frequency of puzzle hints provided by companions, allowing players to engage more deeply with the challenges presented in the game. This option can be easily accessed through the Gameplay Settings tab.

The Cinematic Audio Description feature is designed to enrich the narrative experience for players with low vision. It provides audio descriptions of visual events during cutscenes, offering contextual information that complements the spoken dialogue. To activate this feature, players need to enable the Audio Description setting found in the Audio Accessibility Menu.

Streamer Alerts and Fan Kit

In celebration of the PC launch, Santa Monica Studio is introducing special Streamer Alerts for content creators who will be streaming God of War Ragnarok. These alerts feature animated notifications showcasing beloved characters such as Kratos, Thor, Atreus, and Fenrir, designed for events like New Follower, New Subscriber, New Donation, and New Gifted Sub.

Additionally, a comprehensive Fan Kit has been made available on the studio’s website. This kit includes a variety of social media banners and wallpapers, with options optimized for ultra-wide monitors, allowing fans to showcase their enthusiasm for the game.
