In the latest update from the gaming world, the dominance of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 continues unabated. For the second consecutive week, this title has secured its position as the top seller on Steam, having sold over two million copies since its launch on September 9th. Its success has effectively kept Counter-Strike 2, another popular title from Valve, in the runner-up position.
Steam’s Dynamic Rankings
Meanwhile, Valve’s Steam Deck has experienced a notable rise, climbing four spots in the rankings. This surge can be attributed to a recent sale event featuring older LCD versions of the console, which quickly sold out, much to the delight of eager gamers.
In a shift further down the list, Black Myth: Wukong has slipped to fourth place, while the post-apocalyptic MMO Once Human has made a comeback, landing in fifth place thanks to the launch of its new Prismverse’s Clash content on September 15th.
The competitive landscape sees NBA 2K25 and the battle royale sensation PUBG: Battlegrounds both dropping two spots to sixth and seventh, respectively. In contrast, the beloved MOBA Dota 2 has climbed two positions to secure the eighth spot.
Notably, Forza Horizon 4 has re-entered the Top 100, now sitting in ninth place, buoyed by an impressive 80% discount. Rounding out the Top Ten is Satisfactory, which recently celebrated its full release with a remarkable peak of 186,158 concurrent players, according to SteamDB.
