Capcom announced today that Exoprimal, their competitive action game featuring anime mech suits fighting dinosaurs, will no longer receive new seasonal updates. The conclusion of Season 4 on July 11 will mark the end of ongoing content development for the game.
Continuing Online Services
Despite the end of new seasonal updates, Capcom reassures players that all online services will continue to be available and all game modes will remain playable. After Season 4, Exoprimal will cycle monthly through old Seasons, starting with Season 1. Additionally, former limited-time endgame missions and collaboration events will return on a weekly rotation.
Capcom also released a full breakdown of the monthly season and weekly event rotation, complete with charts. It’s a bittersweet moment for fans of Exoprimal, as the game will no longer receive new content updates but will still be accessible for the foreseeable future.
A Nostalgic Journey
For those craving more dinosaur battles from Capcom, there’s always Monster Hunter to satisfy that urge. It’s a sad day for Exoprimal, but the game will live on in the memories of its players.
