Death Travelers: A New Mobile Game Experience
They say you can’t outrace death, but with the newly-released Death Travelers, you can certainly give it the ol’ college try. And best of all, aside from offering high-octane racing action, you can also bump to some classic beats from hip-hop’s biggest stars.
In Death Travelers, your job is to save lost souls from a crumbling afterlife as you race along the highways. It’s pretty straightforward from a gameplay standpoint, combining simple obstacle-dodging racing and a little bit of base building – because that seems to be the standard nowadays.
Musical Talent Takes Center Stage
But how it does stand out is in the bevvy of musical talent that’ll be contributing some of their talents to Death Travelers via producer Mike Smith’s new group Niosmith. Snoop Dogg of course needs little introduction, but fans of older school hip-hop will instantly recognize RZA, one of the founding members of the iconic group the Wu-Tang Clan.

Race for Your Life
While initial gameplay for Death Travelers does look a little rough, I admit I was surprised by the clear production value that’s gone into the accompanying music. And as much as it may be tempting fate to say, even if the gameplay doesn’t stand out once Death Travelers leaves early access, I wouldn’t be surprised if it is able to lean heavily on the fantastic musical talent it boasts.
