Honor of Kings has now officially launched globally. If you had pre-registered for an account, you will find quite a lot of in-game rewards waiting for you. These include a free hero, Ying, an associated skin, diamonds, and more.
For those who have never heard of Honor of Kings, you are not alone. The mobile game was first published and marketed in its home region in China through Chinese social media platforms such as Douyu, Weibo, and Douyin.
Expanding Horizons
The game developed by TiMi Studio Group and published by Level Infinite aims to bring its strategic team-based battles to a wider global audience. At launch, players will have free access to 85 out of its 100-plus available heroes and will also get to try out the newest hero in the roster, Sun Ce, for the first month.
The launch will coincide with several IP collaborations, including partnerships with SNK, Saint Seya, Bruce Lee, and even Hello Kitty. Beyond collaborations, the game will also offer opportunities for players to permanently unlock up to 28 heroes and 21 skins by completing in-game activities.

On the esports front, the Honor of Kings Invitational Season 2 tournament in Kuala Lumpur is set to begin on 29 June. The tournament will see 13 teams from various regions competing for a share of the $500,000 prize pool.
