Midnight Girl Release Date Announced

Midnight Girl, the upcoming, diamond-heisting point-and-click adventure, has got an official release date, and it’s coming this month. On September 16th, you’ll be able to dive into the world of 1960s Paris and take on ItalicApS’ challenging retro adventure title.

Set in 1965, Midnight Girl puts you in the shoes of Monique, a young cat burglar who ends up thrown in prison, only to meet a fellow thief with knowledge of a valuable diamond. Stored in an underground, secret vault, you’ll travel through an ancient monastery, metro stations, and the deep catacombs beneath the city to pull off the heist of a lifetime.

Inspired by the work of France’s classic comics, Midnight Girl promises action and adventure in an interesting setting, with a moody and atmospheric story to accompany it. Midnight Girl drops September 16th on iOS and Android!

Midnight Girl stands out to me since I grew up on works like Tintin and Asterix & Obelix, so I’d say I’m fairly familiar with the European comics industry. And I have to appreciate a setup that’s as simple but effective as a diamond heist that takes you through the atmospheric world of France in the 1960s. Here’s hoping that Midnight Girl lives up to the hype when it finally releases later this month.

Eventually, the girls became unwitting pawns in a larger geopolitical struggle, faced with the potential of being evacuated back to Germany through an espionage plot. The tensions culminate with the school being raided and the girls' futures hanging in the balance.
