AYANEO is gearing up to launch pre-orders for two new handheld game consoles, the AYANEO Pocket DMG and AYANEO Pocket Micro. The crowdfunding campaigns for these devices are set to begin on July 31st.
AYANEO Pocket DMG: A Nostalgic Nod with Modern Twists
The AYANEO Pocket DMG takes design cues from the classic Game Boy, but offers modern features such as a Qualcomm Snapdragon G3x Gen 2 processor and a 3.92 inch OLED display with a resolution of 1240 x 1080 pixels. One unique aspect of the Pocket DMG is its single analog stick and touchpad setup, deviating from the traditional dual analog stick configuration.
AYANEO Pocket Micro: Compact Yet Capable
On the other hand, the AYANEO Pocket Micro prioritizes portability over high-end performance. Inspired by the Game Boy Micro, the Pocket Micro boasts a larger, higher quality display, more buttons, and the internals of an affordable Android device. It features an aluminum body, a 3.5 inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 960 x 640 pixels, a MediaTek Helio G99 processor, and a full set of gaming controls including a D-pad, dual analog sticks, shoulder buttons, and action buttons.
More details on pricing and specifications will be disclosed when the crowdfunding campaigns kick off at the end of July. For additional information, interested individuals can visit the preview page on Indiegogo for the Pocket DMG and Pocket Micro.
