The upcoming video game, Arc Raiders, is addressing issues ahead of its October 30, 2025, release. Embark has implemented several key changes following feedback from the Server Slam playtest.
Patching Exploits and Tweaking Machines
An exploit found in the Dam Tower map allowed players to access a locked loot room by bypassing the key requirement. Embark has patched this before the full launch, ensuring more balanced gameplay. The game's flying machines, the Snitch and the Hornet, had overly high detection capabilities, which Embark has now reduced to improve player experience.
Visual and Performance Adjustments
Players noted a visual downgrade compared to earlier tests. Embark clarified that visual settings were adjusted to improve performance on low- and mid-tier devices. They are currently working to fine-tune the balance between graphics and performance for a more satisfactory experience.
Participants are encouraged to provide feedback in community channels to aid further adjustments post-launch.
