The Aphelion blueprint in Arc Raiders now drops more frequently, improving its availability for players. This change follows an update that adjusted its initial rarity since the Stella Montis expansion.
Acquiring the Aphelion Blueprint
The Aphelion blueprint is most likely to be obtained from the Matriarch core, accessible after defeating the Matriarch elite boss. This boss can be found when the Matriarch map condition is active. Locations include Dam Battlegrounds, Spaceport, and Blue Gate. Note that only one core can be looted per event, and players may need to compete for the blueprint. If acquired, storing it promptly in a secure pocket is recommended to prevent loss upon death.
Crafting and Materials Needed
The Aphelion can be crafted at a Level 3 Gunsmith bench. Required materials include three Magnetic Accelerators, three Complex Gun Parts, and one Matriarch Reactor. The reactors are found within the Matriarch cores, often obtained more easily than the blueprint itself.
Weapon Features
The Aphelion is a legendary two-round burst battle rifle firing high-speed energy bullets, making it highly effective against Arc machines. Compared to other battle rifles like the Jupiter and Equalizer, the Aphelion offers better ease of use, though handling could be smoother.
