2XKO has officially unveiled its ranked mode, providing players with a new competitive gaming opportunity starting from 2025-10-09. This mode introduces a structured ranking system featuring 11 ranks, allowing players to earn Ranked Points (RP) and advance through tiers.
How to Unlock Ranked Mode
To access the 2XKO ranked mode, players need to reach account level three. This level can be achieved through various methods such as completing challenges, combo trials, or engaging in casual play. New players will benefit from the fresh start as all progress from the closed beta was reset before the official launch.
Ranking and Tiers
The ranked mode includes 11 ranks: Aspirant, Bronze, Iron, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Emerald, Diamond, Master, Grandmaster, and Challenger. Most ranks comprise three tiers: I, II, and III. Upon entering ranked mode, players must complete five placement matches to determine their initial rank and lobby. Success in matches earns players RP, starting at 0 for their placed rank, allowing them to climb through the tiers by accumulating points.
Ranked Battles and Rewards
Ranked matches are conducted in a best-of-three format, with options for players to decline rematches and change champions between games to adapt strategically. While ranks cannot be demoted, players can drop tiers if they lose RP, especially when on 0 RP. The ranks are seasonal, meaning progress may not carry over to the next season. Exclusive rewards are tied to ranked achievements, though specific details are yet to be disclosed.
