New Windows PCs Offer Xbox Game Bundle: Eligibility Requirements Explained

Microsoft has announced an exciting promotional offer for new Windows PC buyers in the United States. From November 2 to December 31, 2026, customers purchasing eligible devices can claim a bundle of 25 Xbox games, including popular titles like Skyrim Special Edition and Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary. However, not all purchases will qualify for this promotional offer.

Eligibility Criteria for the Xbox Game Bundle

The Xbox Game Bundle, celebrating 25 years of Xbox, is available exclusively for select new Windows Home PCs and handheld devices purchased from participating manufacturers and retailers. It is important to note that Windows Pro devices, except for those equipped with Nvidia RTX Spark technology, are not eligible for this promotion. As well, refurbished, open-box, or returned units do not qualify.

To ensure eligibility, buyers should verify that the specific model and seller participate in the promotion. For instance, the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5X is listed on Microsoft's Windows PC shopping page as part of the promotion, yet this does not guarantee that every configuration or retailer will qualify. Activation of the device must also occur within the United States during the promotional period for buyers to be eligible.

Claiming the Game Bundle

Once an eligible PC has been activated, customers can claim the game bundle through the Microsoft Store. To do this, users should navigate to the Library section within the Store app, select the option for included devices, and then choose to claim the 25 Years of Xbox Bundle. It is essential for users to use the same Microsoft account that was employed during the PC activation, as the games will be linked to that account.

What Games Are Included in the Bundle?

The promotion features a diverse selection of games spanning various genres, including role-playing games, shooters, and strategy titles. The full list of games included in the bundle comprises:

Skyrim Special Edition
Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary
Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition
Minecraft Dungeons
Gears of War: Reloaded
Call of Duty: WWII
The Elder Scrolls Online
Fallout 76
DOOM
Oblivion Game of the Year Edition
Quake
The Outer Worlds
Zoo Tycoon: Ultimate Animal Collection
and several others.

Games claimed will be digital licenses tied to the user's Microsoft account, and they cannot be split across different accounts. Additionally, while a Game Pass subscription is not necessary to access these games after claiming, certain titles may have their own online requirements.

Conclusion

To take advantage of this unique offer, potential buyers must ensure they purchase eligible devices and activate them within the specified time frame. They should also verify the specific PC model and retailer's participation in the promotion, as not all new Windows PCs will qualify for the Xbox game bundle. This careful consideration will allow buyers to enjoy the benefits of this exciting collection of games.
