Warhammer 40,000 Skins Enhance Rust Gameplay

On 2025-10-24, Rust, the popular survival game on Steam, launched a new crossover pack featuring Warhammer 40,000’s Death Korps of Krieg. The pack adds grimdark cosmetic enhancements to the game.

Warhammer 40,000 Pack Details

The Warhammer 40,000 Pack introduces several themed items: a hazmat-suit reskin with a gasmask and trenchcoat, a large backpack in Krieg style, and a chainsaw retextured as a chainsword. The pack also includes a Krieg-themed shotgun and two thematic storage barrels. These skins can be applied at repair benches or crafted if the DLC is installed.

While the pack omits a functional shovel due to technical constraints, some suggest a simple shovel skin or attachment would complement the crossover.

The Krieg skins represent an impressive collaboration between Rust and Warhammer 40,000. The DLC is now available on Steam and is currently offered at a 40% discount until 2025-11-06.
