Additionally, the code also includes references to “upload failure”, indicating that users may need to try again if their thumbnail upload is unsuccessful. There are also mentions of dimension requirements, with one string suggesting that small dimensions could be a reason for upload failure.
Currently, users can only set thumbnails for videos on YouTube for Android, with playlists defaulting to the thumbnail of the first video in the list. This upcoming feature will give users more control over their playlists, allowing them to choose any image as the thumbnail.

YouTube is reportedly working on a sleep timer feature for its Android app, which will allow users to set a timer for video playback to automatically stop.
