Google Introduces Unified Feedback Button in YouTube Update for Android TV
In a recent update to the YouTube app for Android TV, Google has introduced a new dual-purpose button that merges the traditional ‘like’ and ‘dislike’ functionalities into a single interface. This change marks a notable shift in user interaction, as viewers will now find a unified button that, when clicked, reveals a mini pop-up menu for expressing their sentiments about the video content.
Previously, users could easily access separate ‘like’ and ‘dislike’ buttons located in the menu bar above the playback progress scrubber. This setup allowed for quick feedback on videos, alongside additional contextual options such as settings and playlist controls. For music videos, viewers also had the ability to toggle album artwork visibility.
