The narrative unfolds in a crime-ridden landscape, where the manipulation of DNA poses further threats.

The storyline focuses on four key characters in Hong Kong: Hana Tsu-Vachel, a former Triad member; Royce Glas, once a US commander; Jacob “Deke” Decourt, an Australian hitman; and Rain, a mysterious discovery by Hana. Together, they embark on a mission to find a cure, journeying through exotic locations and encountering intersections of Chinese folklore and reality.
