Soft Rains is set to release Ambrosia Sky, a first-person shooter and immersive sim, with Act 1 launching on November 10, 2025. This release will be available for Windows PC users on Steam and the Epic Games Store. Acts 2 and 3 are planned for 2026.
Gameplay and Mechanics
In Ambrosia Sky, players assume the role of Dalia, a member of the Ambrosia project tasked with unraveling a mystery on the rings of Saturn. The gameplay involves clearing alien fungus and collecting samples to unlock a skill-tree with sprayer upgrades and new ammunition types. Additional tasks include conducting last rites for deceased characters and uncovering the cause of a catastrophic event.
New Features and Demo Availability
A recent demo, showcased at the IGN Fan Fest and available during the Steam Next Fest until October 20, introduces voice acting for Dalia and expands gameplay with the skill tree, more upgrades, and replayable missions to explore missed items.
