Microsoft has announced the release of its annual Windows 11 update, termed version 25H2. This update is being rolled out progressively starting today, following a comprehensive testing phase within the Windows Insider Release Preview ring. Users can now access this update via Windows Update, where it is deployed as a succinct "enablement package," designed to install swiftly and with minimal system disruption.
John Cable, Vice President of Program Management for Windows Servicing and Delivery, highlighted the shared code base and servicing branch between versions 24H2 and 25H2.
