Jotunnslayer Free on Epic Games Store Until December 19

The Epic Games Store is offering 'Jotunnslayer: Hordes of Hel' as a free game from December 18 to December 19, 2023. Users have a 24-hour window to claim this special holiday giveaway.

Jotunnslayer: Hordes of Hel, normally priced at $14.99, is an action roguelite developed by Slovakian studio Games Farm and published by Grindstone. The gameplay involves leading a character through enemy swarms with bullet-hell mechanics, utilizing enhancements called blessings from Norse deities.

The title, which launched in early access in January and reached its full 1.0 version on September 3, 2023, is currently single-player only. There were considerations of adding a co-op mode post-release.

Epic's Holiday Giveaway Strategy

Epic's holiday giveaway includes daily game offerings, with a limited claim time for each. 'Jotunnslayer' is part of this lineup, available until 8am PT / 11am ET / 5pm CET on December 19. Afterward, it will be replaced by another yet-to-be-revealed title.
