However, the excitement surrounding this highly anticipated title has been tempered for Xbox players, as the game is currently available only on PC and PlayStation 5. Initial reports from the Tencent-backed developer Game Science attributed the absence of an Xbox version to technical challenges. The source indicated that the delay in launching Black Myth: Wukong on Xbox consoles is linked to a technical issue known as a “Memory Leak.” This bug reportedly poses a risk of significant crashes, potentially jeopardizing the performance of Xbox consoles. As a result, the game has not yet passed Xbox’s rigorous bug detection tests, leading to an indefinite postponement until the developers can optimize it for the Series X|S.
