The Gemini overlay, already popular for its ease of access from third-party apps, might soon offer even more convenience. The inclusion of the Tools icon is expected to allow users to access powerful features like Canvas and AI-powered capabilities by simply tapping within the overlay itself. The code for this anticipated feature, found in version 16.40.18 of the Google app, suggests that once a tool is selected, its icon will appear in the input box. Users will then have the ability to employ text or voice commands to utilize these features effectively. Beyond simplification, the overlay may also adopt a Circle to Select feature.
