While the Magic Editor may appear to have disappeared, its elements have been reimagined and split into individual features like Magic Eraser, Move, and Reimagine, each offering unique enhancements.
Upon opening a photo in Google Photos and selecting Edit, users will find a redesigned toolbar featuring options such as Auto, Actions, Markup, Filters, Lighting, and Color. A newly integrated Search button ensures that users can quickly locate their desired tool, enhancing the user experience.

Among the standout features, Magic Eraser allows for seamless object removal. By simply selecting a photo, heading to Actions, and tapping on Magic Eraser, users can either select an area directly or manually circle the object they wish to erase. After making the desired adjustments, the changes can be saved with a simple press of the checkmark button.
Enhancing clarity and focus, the Photo Unblur tool helps to refine images that may appear blurry. Adjusting the intensity of the unblur effect is as straightforward as using a sliding scale, allowing photographers to achieve the perfect balance before saving the final version.
The Reimagine feature introduces generative fill options, inviting users to infuse creativity into their images. By outlining an area and selecting Reimagine, users can input a prompt and choose from generated options to transform the part of the image they've selected.

The Auto frame and Move features provide additional flexibility, whether it be automatically cropping an image for an optimal frame or repositioning objects within a photo. This ensures every shot is picture-perfect and composed to the user’s liking.

Furthermore, AI Enhance optimizes images by automatically adjusting color, lighting, and clarity, offering a quick enhancement solution that gives photos a professionally edited appearance with minimal effort.
