According to Mahajan, merging these systems could substantially increase the potential risks of hacking, as automotive security systems might not be impervious to hacker interventions seeking to exploit these vulnerabilities.
Furthermore, Liudas Kanapienis, CEO of Ondato, highlighted concerns about remote hacking risks stemming from the internet connectivity often required by in-car gaming systems. He pointed out that such connectivity could inadvertently provide hackers with access to sensitive personal data, thereby accentuating the risks associated with these systems.
