AliensRL is a roguelike based on the universe of Alien, in which you have to play the role of a space marine and travel to a colony from where no communication has been received. Naturally, when you get there everything goes wrong, the ship explodes, your friend dies, and suddenly you find yourself trapped in an alien-infested colony. In the beginning of the game you have to choose your character's class and his skills, which you can improve as you play. These skills consist of handling main and secondary weapons, first aid, etc. In short, everything a marine would need. The controls are simpler than in the majority of the games of the genre, you can start killing aliens as soon as you start the game, without having to go through any kind of tutorial. That said, surviving and escaping the colony is not as easy as killing a couple of aliens. AliensRL is a fun role playing game, in which playing a space marine becomes truly terrifying. Just a couple of minutes from starting you feel the life of your character is in danger, and that's how it should be.
