DarkAdapted is an interesting tool that lets you adjust your screen's gamma to make it easier to work on your computer in the dark. This application is a great way to lessen the effects that monitor brightness has on your eyes. If you suffer from eyestrain or have to spend long nights in front of your computer, this application will help. It has several default configurations, or presets, to get you started. You can also set the gamma values manually according to your preferences. If the screen becomes unreadable, press and hold Ctrl + Shift + Alt to return it to its original appearance.
