Dualotl is a 2D platform game in which you control two characters simultaneously. You will have a different objective in each game's level, but you must never forget that every time you move one of the two characters, the other will also move. What's more, if either of the two gets hurt, you will have to start over. Dualotl control system is the traditional one of the genre. If you play with the keyboard, you can use the arrow keys to move the two characters and the space bar to jump. However, you will also be able to play with a controller if you have an Xbox or PlayStation gamepad connected to the PC. Whichever option you choose, the truth is that, although the game is challenging, the control is very accessible. One element to keep in mind with Dualotl is that, although at first sight, it may appear to be a pure platformer, it has more puzzle elements than it looks like. In most of the game's levels, you will have to stop, observe and recognize the patterns of the moving platforms if you want your two characters to come through safely. If you try to jump at full speed with only one of them, you will most likely end up losing the other one. Dualotl offers a great combination of puzzles and platforming in two dimensions, with a high level of difficulty capable of testing even the most skilled in the genre. The game also has a beautiful esthetic and a charming pair of protagonists.
