Girder is a tool to automate different processes so they run independently whenever you need them. You can create these automatic processes in two different ways: using the command list, which is accesible and easy to use; or using the LUA language, which is a little harder to master, but allows for a deeper customization of your automated processes. There are also several ways to set these processes in motion once you've created them. The first and most straightforward is to do it right from the application, but you can also do it through the Internet, using a website that you have to create beforehand. Girder is a pretty complex application that might well leave more than one user lost in the many possibilities it offers. Fortunately, the help menu included in the application can help you learn how to use it in no more than an hour.
