iPodRip is a shareware application that allows you to extract the songs stored on any iPod, from a first generation iPod to the revolutionary iPod touch. It is also compatible with iPhone. The completely free trial version of iPodRip allows you to extract up to 100 songs from your device. The program has two different modes: automatic, which copies all of the songs and playlists stored on the iPod to your hard drive; and manual, which only transfers the songs you select. Be careful! You have to press Alt Ctrl as you connect your iPod to prevent iTunes from syncing your media library with the device. Otherwise you could lose all of the songs on your media player.
