Krut is the name given to this multiplatfrom screen captor which can capture the screen as video or picture. Krut can capture images from any video or still image, no matter if the video is being played on a multimedia player, webcam or streaming over internet. It is a useful tool if you want to take snapshots while playing. If you want to enjoy this feature you only have to deactivate the video acceleration feature. Access the performance tab, Configuration of Windows Media Player and deactivate it. Of course, you will be able to choose the image and video quality for the image or video you will capture.
