Lair of the Madhat is a dungeon crawler in pure Diablo style that tells the story of three friends who venture into a dungeon in search of a mysterious and unknown treasure. The game can be played either alone or with a friend. You can choose from three different character classes: warrior, scout, and mage. The first is the best for melee and has several abilities with which he can jump and attack instantly. The second is better with his bow and good for long distances, and the third has spells apt for any situation. The basic gameplay is similar to games like Diablo 2 and Torchlight. You advance through dungeons full of enemies, traps, and other dangers while trying to get rid of all of them and gain enough experience to level up. Visually speaking, Lair of the Madhat is outstanding and can hold its own against just about any commercial game. The character design and different special effects look absolutely amazing. Lair of the Madhat is a simple but fun RPG. It's a lot of fun to play by yourself, but it's even better online with a friend.
