MediaPlayerConnectivity

Many times when you have been surfing the Internet you find some links to video and audio files you want to play but you can't because you don't have the correct plugins. Sometimes the browser crashes when trying to open those multimedia files. If you remember one of those two situations, you'll welcome this interesting add-on for Firefox called MediaPlayerConnectivity. MediaPlayerConnectivity is an add-on for Firefox that allows you to configure the browser so each time you find any multimedia file of a certain extension, the file will be opened with the program you choose. By this way, you can associate audio files and Winamp, video files and VLC or DivX Player and more. You'll also find a wizard that will help you configuring each extension in a simple way, you can even include any website in a white list what means that the files in that website will be opened as usual.
