For many people who use the Internet, browsing is basically synonymous with doing Google searches. Not surprisingly there are lots of programs designed to make it easier to search from anywhere on your computer. MGES, for example, gives you a simple, discreet search bar you can access at all times. MGES 'camouflages' itself on your desktop by becoming transparent. When you click on the bar it becomes visible, letting you search just as you would with Google. In the program options you can also set the bar's position, change its transparency level, clear your history, and even change the search engine to one that's not Google.
