Palphoons is a program designed for people with disabilities that are specifically related to motor skills or speech. The application opens up a huge channel for communication and encourages those who use it to learn how to read and write. The main function of this tool is to serve as dynamic communicator: it uses a series of images or cards that represent actions, desires, and feelings. User selects the cards by using either the mouse or the arrow keys and link them together to construct a message. Plaphoons includes various methods that can be used to construct a message: the alphabet, a keyboard containing different syllables, and a bunch of other simple communicators. Creating and editing the cards is easy: you just click on a image and change it for another one or modify the text that is linked to it. It's also possible to record voices that will play when user clicks on the cards.
