Red Rogue is an RPG similar to Nethack where your mission is basically the same: to descend into the depths of a dungeon and retrieve the Amulet of Yendor. Unlike Nethack, though, Red Rogue is a 2D game where you move laterally through the levels, climbing stairs or sliding down. Attacks are done automatically as soon as you get close enough to an enemy. Also, as in more traditional roguelikes, in Red Rogue your enemies will only move when you do. Red Rogue is an entertaining and fun RPG that despite being though devilishly difficult is addictive enough to keep you coming back for more.
