Summoning Wars is a free and open-source role-playing game with both single-player and multiplayer modes, the latter of which allows for up to eight people playing on a local network. Gameplay is very similar to Diablo and other classic ARPGs, with the fundamental difference that Summoning Wars has 3D polygonal graphics. Except for that detail, this game is exactly as you'd expect, including talking with other characters, fighting hundreds of enemies, earning experience and leveling up, using magic abilities, equipping weapons and armor, etc. There's also a pretty elaborate story that starts with your character locked in a dungeon inside a guarded castle. Everything starts to fall apart when a dangerous demon attacks and the guardians ask for your help. Summoning Wars is a pretty fun role-playing game. Although it's not that visually appealing (the graphics leave something to be desired), it has great gameplay and an excellent story. You can also choose from several different classes at the beginning of the game, each offering a unique playing experience.
