The Witch and the Warrior is an old school, Super Nintendo-style role-playing game where you play as a young, powerful witch whose upbringing has been pretty tough because of who she is - a witch. The game's story begins by dealing with the idealogical programs that exist between spell-casters and normal people, and soon launches you into a magical story in which you'll learn how to fly and even earn your very own familiar (a pet owned by a witch or wizard). Combat is turn-based, like in other, similar games. You will select which moves Ember and her group of friends will perform, and then your opponents will take their turn. The Witch and the Warrior is a classic JRPG with lovable graphics and a charming story. It is highly recommended for anyone who still enjoys Super Nintendo's golden era.
