TileRogue is an updated version of the classic Rogue, the father of roguelike games. The new version has some added features like updated graphics (the original used ASCII graphics) and mouse control (the original was solely keyboard-based). Aside from these differences, which make the game much more accessible, TileRogue is exactly the same as famous game from the early eighties. This means that your goal will still be to plunge yourself into the depths of an endless catacomb to retrieve the Amulet of Yendor. As would be expected, along the way you will have to confront tons of different enemies that will stop at nothing to destroy you. As always, if they manage to do so (and they often will), you'll have to start over from the beginning. In TileRogue, you pay for carelessness with your life. TileRogue is possibly the best way to enjoy Rogue nowadays. Its easy playability, with both keyboard and mouse, as well as the great appearance of its graphic tiles makes playing it a real delight.
