TopOCR is an optical character recognition tool that lets you transfer the text in an image to editable text. By using it, you avoid having to manually copy the text. The capture can be made using both entire documents as well as parts of documents, thanks to a selection tool. The characters are exported to a word processor that comes with the program, from which you can then modify the text and format. The program interface is divided into two windows. On the left window, the original image is displayed. On the right window, the user can format the text that is extracted from the image. TopOCR is equipped to work best with images from digital cameras and mobile phones.
