Vive le Football is the newest soccer game from NetEase, after the excellent Champions of the Field. Here, again you can find tons of official FIFPRO licenses, with some real clubs and best of all, tons of players whose faces have been perfectly recreated in the game. This version of Vive le Football is, as NetEase has been doing with many of its releases, a direct emulation of the Android one, but optimized for Windows. This means the game has the exact same graphics as the mobile version, but with better resolution and performance. Likewise, the controls are perfectly adapted to use a keyboard: with the arrow keys, you'll control your player and with the keys A, S, W and D you can sprint, pass, center, and shoot the ball. The first thing you can do when you start playing Vive le Football, is choose the look of your 'manager.' This is your character, who you can move directly through your club's facilities and will always be on the sidelines directing the games. Once you have your coach, you just have to choose what league and club you want to start out with. This choice is very important, since the first matches will be played with the team you choose. One of the best things about Vive le Football is the great variety of game modes it offers. In addition to the classic tournaments, you can enjoy a great story mode where you'll get to relive certain matches that require you to complete specific objectives. For example, in one of them, you'll have to try to make a comeback in a game where your team is losing at 80 minutes into the game. Vive le Football is NetEase's latest big venture in the world of soccer games. We're talking about a title with a direct and fun gameplay, great graphics and official licenses. It may not yet be able to directly compete with FIFA or PES, but NetEase is certainly getting closer and closer.
