This means that each player can build their own base, and retreat to it if they get hurt during a mission. Although you'll start a new game with only one revolver in your holster, you'll soon be able to buy many more weapons as you complete mission and earn money. Shotguns, hunting rifles, high caliber pistols... you can build an entire arsenal! Not only that, but you can switch between a first-person and a third-person view at any time. All in all, this creates an excellent game experience that's on par with paid MMORPGs. Try New Frontier and explore its unique environment, great graphics, and deep, very entertaining gameplay.

Guild Wars 2 is an MMORPG that's completely different from the rest of the games in the genre. It's unique because the story unravels differently based on the decisions of the players, which is relatively common in single player games, but not in multiplayers. Plus, instead of the traditional quests, there's a dynamic system of events, which is a lot more fun. Unlike the development of the story and missions, the creation of characters in Guild Wars 2 is much more traditional. You can choose between five different races: humans, asuras, charr, norns, and sylvaris. Once you pick the race, you can choose from eight different classes, including traditional ones like thief and warrior, and other less common ones like necromancer and hypnotist. Once in the game, you can see how the combat system is a lot more dynamic than in other MMORPGs. As usual, there are plenty of skills and abilities you can use. That said, the best thing about the combats is how important the synergies between classes are. This way, the game encourages cooperation between different players. Guild Wars 2 is an excellent MMORPG. Now, three years after its release, it's finally available to play for free. Consider this your golden opportunity to enter the magical world of Tyria.

Matches take place in enormous scenes that can fit dozens of players simultaneously. These levels also include a dynamic weather control system, which will naturally affect the control of your own airplane. During battles, you need to try to take out as many enemies as you can without being hit in the process. Matchups are normally 15 against 15, so that the numbers are equal and only the skill of the pilots will determine whether you fly to victory or defeat. When you finish a fight, you'll receive an amount of credits and experience points which you can use to buy upgrades for your planes. These credits, like in World of Tanks, can also be acquired with real money. World of Warplanes is a fun multiplayer war game that takes the basic idea from its predecessor, World of Tanks, and brings it to the sky to create a spectacular, addictive gaming experience.

Albion Online is an MMORPG set in an absolutely gigantic medieval fantasy world, and one of the first of it's kind to offer a truly cross-platform gaming experience. Users on Android, Windows, Mac, iOS, and Linux can all play on the same servers. This creates a world where all Albion Online players can interact with each other, no matter what platform they're using. Albion Online has super simple controls, and most actions can be completed only using just the mouse. Although some actions can be done faster using keyboard shortcuts, players generally only need a mouse to move their character and interact with other characters. But one of Albion Online's best features is its loads of character personalization options. Start a new game, and you'll be able to edit almost every feature of your character to create a completely personalized avatar, although you won't be able to edit their attributes. Instead, players can mold their characters' skills and attributes naturally as they complete missions and levels up. Like most MMORPGs, there are hundreds of different monsters in Albion Online, but unlike some similar games, fighting them is completely optional. This creates more variety in the gameplay, as players don't have to go to battle. They can also retire to a tranquil farm and grow crops, or build their own house from the ground up. Clearly, there's most then just fighting in Albion Online, and sometimes it's even more fun just to hang out with your guild. Overall, Albion Online is a fantastic MMORPG, where you can experience a practically endless adventure alongside other players from every corner of the globe. On top of all that, this game has great -but not overly demanding- graphics, so they run well on almost any computer. Give it a try, create a completely custom avatar, and live your own adventure!

The list of heroes you can choose from is not precisely small: Captain America, Daredevil, Iron Man, Thor, Black Widow, Deadpool, Hulk, Thing, Human Torch, Scarlet Witch, Wolverine, Storm, Spiderman, Punisher, and Emma Frost are some of the over 25 different heroes you can choose from. If the character cast isn’t enough, you can also find many different options to customize each one of them. You can use any of the many different costumes and outfits that have appeared throughout the history of the comics and movies. Of course a superhero’s game wouldn’t be complete without super-villains, so Marvel Heroes has them as well. Kingpin, Green Goblin, Doctor Doom, Magneto, Grim Reaper, and Venom are just some of the faces you'll see as bosses throughout the game. During your adventures, which you can face both alone and/or in company of other players (forming your own 'Avengers'), you'll go to some of the most iconic locations in the Marvel universe, such as the famous District X. The game will not prove strange to players who have already played RPG games such as Diablo, Torchlight, Path of Exile, or any others. The main difference with these games is that the traditional gameplay shares prominence with Marvel's persistent world, allowing you to interact and or join forces with other players. Basically, the gameplay of this childish-seeming game is based on the classic movie from the 80s. To play, you try to use the wake of your pony to cut off the path of your opponent, blocking the other pony and winning the competition. Pink Pony has achieved something pretty special in terms of its graphics, especially when you consider that it only takes up a mere 15 megabytes of space on your hard drive. The pony is well-modeled and the setting is very pretty, although the special effects (like when you cut off the other pony) could be cooler. Pink Pony is a little strange, mostly because its graphics make it look like it's intended for children. Its gameplay and references to Tron, however, are good reasons for veteran players to check it out.

However, Farmville it is not, nor is it a social game, it is instead a detailed sim that challenges you with all the complications of running a real farm. The graphics are quite simple, and while they don't do anything fantastic, they do what they have to. The game more than makes up for it with the sheer range of management options that are made available. Modern Farm is a really comprehensive game that requires high levels of skill and patience on the part of the player. It does however provide some pleasing rewards for your efforts.

Probably the best option among these is the wheel and pedals, which lend it the best sense of realism. Now, probably the most fun mode is the classic 'Career Mode' (as in professional career), where you can take different challenges along a racing season, giving you the ability to compete with many different vehicles along the changing seasons of the year. Like with TORCS, in Speed Dreams you'll have a powerful artificial intelligence to compete against, and it won't hesitate to make life difficult for you. The difference is that in this game, some of the tactics used by your opponents are pretty advanced and, well, genius - so watch out if you want to stay ahead of the pack. Speed Dreams is a racing game with good graphics and fun gameplay - and did we mention it's totally free? It also allows you to play split-screen so that two players can participate on the same computer at the same time.

LUPA is a very special independent video game, where you will take on the role of a prostitute who is trying to earn enough money to get out of the life where they are currently trapped. What really makes the game intriguing isn't the subject matter itself, although that is already pretty original. No, it's the fact that to play the game you'll need not just a keyboard and a mouse, but also a webcam and a microphone. Using the webcam you'll have to lift up your shirt (yes you, the player) so that your avatar within the game (the prostitute) does the same and attracts clients. Meanwhile, you'll use the microphone to fake orgasms when you're with a client. In other words, it's pretty normal that when playing LUPA you find yourself with your shirt half-off, shouting at the top of your lungs so that your character does a good job. LUPA is a unique game in all aspects, and also has attractive 'pixel art' graphics. Even gameplay itself contains more than meets the eye.

That means that Ski Ranger has more to offer than just one-player against the clock: you can race against up to three other players to see who is the fastest. As you descend each mountain you'll find straightaways where you can show off how fast you are, jumps to attempt tricks off of, and even snowballs that you'll need to dodge to avoid. Everything has been created using the Unreal Engine to produce spectacular graphics. Ski Ranger is a skiing game that leaves realism aside so that it can offer up a more enjoyable experience that is even better in the company of friends.

SMS Racing is a very peculiar racing game where your goal is to drive while writing text messages on a cellphone. A task that is as dangerous as it is tricky - which is reflected perfectly in this game. You control the car with the keyboard and can accelerate, brake and turn, while the mouse is used to write messages on the cellphone. These messages are usually short and simple, like 'OMFG' or 'haha' but you only get a maximum of 10 seconds to write them. The objective is to complete the circuit while getting all the messages on the cellphone in time, and this proves quite difficult to achieve without crashing the car at least a few times. SMS Racing is a fun and completely unique racing game. While the main goal is still to drive as fast as possible, the difference, with respect to other titles in the genre, is that you also have to be very skilled at using the mouse to send messages while controlling the car.

Twisted Tower

Twisted Tower is a 2D RPG platformer, reminiscent in many respects to titles like Super Metroid or Castlevania. That is, players explore 2D levels, avoiding traps and fighting enemies while unlocking new skills to move forward. The game, still in its alpha stage, has no definite plot. Instead, players can simply talk to a few villagers and explore the Twisted Tower, a dungeon full of all kinds of dangers for the player to overcome. Fortunately, Twisted Tower allows players to evolve their character however they like and use lots of different weapons. You can find new skills to jump or hit harder, as well as using swords, hammers and bows and arrows. Besides all the weapons you have at your disposal, the hero in Twisted Tower can also use different spells to not only damage his enemies, but also to perform all sorts of other heroic deeds. Twisted Tower is a fun RPG with some excellent Super Nintendo style graphics. And while it is still not entirely finished, it does offer a better gaming experience than many other games in the genre.
