After unzipping the ZIP from Mi Unlock, you have to open the executable 'miflash_unlock.exe'. It prompts you to enter your Xiaomi account. Once you are inside, you have to turn off your terminal. Once turned off, you have to leave the power and volume down buttons pressed at the same time to enter Fastboot mode. When you are in this mode, you connect the terminal via USB to your PC, and if everything is correct, you can press the 'unlock' button. If you cannot press the unlock button, click on the cogwheel at the top of the screen, and click on the first 'check' button to update the USB connection drivers with your Android device. This will ensure that the device is correctly connected to your PC. Once you have done that, you will have to wait a certain amount of time before you can unlock the bootloader. This time is usually 168 hours, equivalent to 7 days. After that time, you will have to reconnect the terminal to your PC and click on the unlock button. Once that is done, you will have the bootloader unlocked. It is important to note that when you unlock the bootloader, you lose all the information you have stored, since all the user data of the terminal is deleted.
