HDHacker is a small utility that allows you to make a backup copy of the Master Boot Record. If you have two operating systems installed on your computer, such as Windows and Linux, you will find this application particularly useful because if you reinstall Windows, you will lose that boot sector. HDHacker lets you view, save and restore the MBR of a physical drive, the boot sector of a logical drive, and a specific sector of any other device, including removable drives. If a virus or Windows reinstall wrecked your bootloader, there is no need to worry, now you can retrieve it anytime. But... Watch out! You can load the current bootloader if you activate the overwrite option.

This small utility scans the hard drive section that you want and shows you the result in mere seconds. After that, you can use the tree view explorer to move around all of the folders that make up your system while Disk Space Explorer shows you -- on the right side of the screen -- all of the compiled free space information. This information shrinks the size of the folders, the number of folders included within those, and the total number count which will show you valuable system information about each folder as well as the entirety of your documents.
