Chatzilla is an excellent extension for this browser that adds some interesting functionalities like the option of chatting through IRC networks. Build a simple IRC client that lets you chat on any network. By default it has ten chat networks, but you can connect to whichever you prefer, as long as you know the URL where its server is hosted. The following default chat networks are listed: dalnet, efnet, freenode, hybridnet, moznet, quakenet, serenia, slashnet, undernet, and webbnet. If you want to chat on other servers like IRC-Hispano, all you need to do is type in the following command line into your console/server www.irc-hispano.org With ChatZilla you'll get to do the same activities you would do on any other chat client, including opening private chats, file sending, ping, whois, etc.
