MameUI64 is one of the longest-lived frontends of the MAME emulator for Windows. However, it's also one of the most comprehensive and efficient that you can find, both for cataloging your arcade game collection, as well as emulating them all with the ease of an intuitive interface. This emulator is an all-purpose program. Once it's connected with your local folders where you have your ROMs stored, it'll show you a complete list of titles that you can also filter according to endless parameters such as release year, the machine it runs on, and category. On top of all that, MameUI64 is based on the compatibility standards of the most modern versions of MAME, so the degree of compatibility and customization possibilities are the same. This is where you get the option to adjust the graphics and even apply post-processing filters to simulate scan lines and color aberrations typical of CRT monitors, along with the control mapping, and use of external devices. The program's interface is also completely customizable. You can even scan all the ROMs you have to search for screenshots or identifying icons in order to organize your lists even better. AdvanceMAME is a fork of the well-known arcade emulator MAME. As its name suggests, this version contains a few more features than the original, such as the capability to run games in their native resolution so they can be used with CRT monitors, and to emulate consoles and PCs as well as arcade games. AdvancedMAME combines several independent software modules. Just like the original MAME, the core of the app doesn't include a default graphic interface. That being said, it does have an AdvanceMENU tool that shows your ROM's thumbnails and can launch them. This menu can be adapted to CRT monitor resolutions, which makes it a great option if you're looking for software that doesn't use tons of processing power to connect a low-performance PC to an arcade monitor. Not only that, but Advance MAME is based on MAME version 0.106, which means it's compatible with all its romsets and anything else compatible with that version of MAME. All of that means Advance MAME can emulate the vast majority of arcade games, all the way to games released in the 90s.

It is set in modern war conflicts, and in fact, you'll play along with characters and scenarios from the "Black Ops" and "Modern Warfare" spin-offs. The main incentive lies in the fact that, although it is a free game, its game system has no chips on its shoulder regarding its predecessors. Although the original version of the game is designed to be played with touch screens, the emulator can map these controls, permitting the use of both your keyboard and mouse as a gamepad control connected to your PC. As for control systems, it follows suit to the standards of any other first-person shooter, with the added power to decide if your shots take place automatically while aiming at enemies. In Call of Duty Mobile (GameLoop) you'll find several game modes: "zombies", "multiplayer" and even a "battle royale" mode. Each of them are old acquaintances of the franchise, which provide both face-to-face play against other players through the internet, or you can otherwise just as easily opt to collaborate with them side by side as you take on and defeat enemies controlled by AI. Plus, from multiplayer mode, you gain several different modes and just as many maps at your disposal, including old ones like Hijacked, Nuketown, and Killhouse. Call of Duty Mobile (GameLoop) is a fantastic game and one of the most anticipated releases of 2019, offering an experience that's not far off from what's found in other installments of the saga. The game also features outstanding graphics, a huge chunk of content to unlock, and all the charisma of such an important franchise for the FPS genre.

mGBA is a free and open source Game Boy Advance emulator, which allows you to play almost any video game from this legendary portable Nintendo console, regardless of your PC's power. Since its conception in 2013, the goal of this project has always been to offer a good emulation experience even on less powerful hardware. And it has succeeded with flying colors. Any computer capable of running Windows 7 or higher can run this emulator without a problem. Getting started with mGBA is very simple. Although you'll find dozens of different configuration options with which to customize your gaming experience, the truth is that you don't need to configure anything in order to load a ROM and start playing. The emulator requires no additional BIOS and is fully compatible with all .gba, .gb, .gc, and virtually any other compressed file. So, regardless of the format of your ROMs, you can run them quickly and easily, without having to go through any complicated processes. Although it's not necessary to view the configuration menu in order to enjoy mGBA, it's a good idea to check it out. From here, you can adjust the frames per second or the resolution; you can also apply experimental filters to the game's image or change the interface language. Of course, you'll also be able to set up the controls. By default, the keyboard arrow keys correspond to the console's D-pad, while the Z and X keys correspond to the B and A buttons, respectively. But if you don't like this configuration, you can always change it. You can even connect an Xbox controller or any other gamepad. mGBA's compatibility list is huge, including 100% compatibility with thousands of Game Boy Advance, Game Boy Color, and Game Boy titles. Best of all? Most Game Boy Advance peripherals are also compatible with this emulator. Rumble, the Game Boy Printer, the Game Boy Camera, and the Solar Sensor are just some of the peripherals you can easily emulate. Basically, you'll have the same experience on your PC that you would get on the traditional handheld console. As is often the case, mGBA doesn't facilitate the download of ROMs. If you want to play an original Game Boy Advance release, it's best to dump your own cartridge image onto your PC, then load it directly on the emulator. That said, there are also tons of totally free video games that you can easily download and run on this emulator. Many developers offer these ROMs for free on their official websites or in dedicated repositories. Download mGBA to enjoy one of the best Game Boy Advance emulation experiences available for Windows. With it, you can play almost the entire catalog offered by Nintendo's 8-bit and 16-bit handheld consoles, which adds up to more than 1,000 different video games from all kinds of genres.

This means you'll be able to enjoy some of the most important classics from the 32-bit era, on your desktop or laptop. The first thing you'll need to do before you can properly enjoy the emulator, is extract or download the ROM of the PlayStation BIOS. This isn't a difficult process; in fact, you'll be able to find plenty of tutorials on how to do it, but it is absolutely necessary in order to be able to play any of the PSOne titles. Once you've loaded the BIOS, the fun can begin. Before loading any game it's a good idea to take a look at the configuration options DuckStation has to offer. You'll find more than twenty different settings to adjust, enable or disable to make your games look better or worse. By default, all games will look exactly the same as on the Sony console. However, all it takes is a few little tweaks to improve the resolution or activate post-processing effects. Changing the resolution can be especially useful on large monitors. It's also important to take a look at the control options. By default, the controls are the basic "WASD" and the numeric keypad, but of course, you can change it to suit your personal preferences. You'll be able to continue using the keyboard, but with other keys; or even use your PlayStation or Xbox controller. Ultimately, the most important thing is that you're comfortable while playing.
