For example, if you have a light vessel, you'll benefit from the help of a bigger craft, and vice versa. World of Warships has outstanding graphics. The ships, as mentioned before, are amazingly detailed. Also, the levels look spectacular thanks to the realistic depiction of the ocean. World of Warships is an excellent multiplayer game that, just like in its 'cousins' World of Tanks and World of Planes (also from Wargaming), offers very fun gameplay and is free. Bullet Ride is an interesting game where your objective is to 'surf' a lost bullet that hasn't been able to find its target. Your character rides on top of the bullet, which you have to control as best you can. The game's controls are very simple, you just need to tilt the bullet from one side to the other to dodge the obstacles in your path, and activate the turbo (or super turbo) when you want to get a boost in speed. Now, the turbo is a double-edged sword: if you crash while you're using it, you're in big trouble. One of the game's strongest points - besides the fact that you can use your XBox 360 controller to play it - is its graphics. Not only is the overall aesthetic very elegant, but the models of each object in the game have been very carefully created. Bullet Ride is a fun game, and although it's a pretty short (it only has one big level), it serves up a new experience in which your reflexes and dexterity are your only allies.

Rotational adds another layer to the mix, though, to create an even more difficult and fast-paced game. The aim of the game is exactly the same as Super Hexagon: survive as long as you can dodging the shapes that fly at you in the center of the screen. The only difference is that, in Rotational, these shapes are semi-transparent and come from all directions. Rotational is a very, very difficult game where lasting even 20 seconds is a challenge, and more than 40 seconds a superhuman feat. If you make it a full minute, you must have the most cat-like reflexes ever.

Humans Must Answer is a 2D spaceship arcade game developed by people who worked on the S.T.A.L.K.E.R franchise; in it you are in control of a ship called 'The Golden Eagle' which is manned by a crew of very dangerous chickens. The dangerous chickens from outer space find the solar system on one of their interstellar trips only to discover that humans are hostile, so they have no choice but to counter attack with all that they’ve got. This is basically the plot behind the chicken adventures in Humans Must Answer. Gameplay is pretty much the same as in all classic spaceship games. In other words, you basically have to advance through levels that are plagued with enemies as you avoid their shots, destroy obstacles that get in your way, find out a couple of secrets, and slaughter each turn's bosses. As you advance in the game, you can make improvements to your ship. You can even configure the weapons in any way you want, being able to choose the ones you believe are better suited for each level. Humans Must Answer's visuals are pretty spectacular with constant explosions and shootings on your screen at all times. The enemy just keeps appearing in constant streams, and with them comes an amazing show. Humans Must Answer is a very fun spaceship game that blends to perfection all the flavor of the classics, with the look and feel of modern games.

Battle Drive is a car battle game in which up to four players face each other in a closed scenario full of traps, jumps and power-ups that they can use to try to destroy their rivals. The last vehicle capable of keep moving wins the game. One aspect to keep in mind when playing Battle Drive is that for the rounds to be as fun as possible, ideally four players should participate. Luckily the game has a very simple control system that will allow two players to use the same keyboard. The other two players will be able to use Xbox, Playstation or even Joycons controllers. In addition, each player will be able to choose which vehicle they want to use before starting the game. Once the action begins, the players' goal will be the same: destroy their opponents. The most effective way to defeat them is to charge against them sideways with our own vehicle, similar to what could be done in Destruction Derby or Carmageddon. Of course, we can also use some of the power-ups on the scene. Battle Drive is a frantic and fun car battle game that, like the best ones, is most enjoyable when played with a group of friends. Regarding its visuals, it features a cell shading aesthetic that fits perfectly with the casual tone of the game.

AM2R (Another Metroid 2 Remake)

AM2R

AM2R stands for 'Another Metroid 2 Remake' which is the true nature of this project. In essence it's a remake of Metroid II: Return of Samus, released for Game Boy in 1991, and whose main appeal was its radical graphics that were (at the time) ahead of their days and preceded Super Metroid on Super Nintendo and Metroid: Zero Mission also remade for Game Boy Advance from the first original title designed for NES. In the game you'll embody Samus Aran once more, and you'll have to face off against new evolutions of the Metroids in the depths of planet SR388. Or what's the same, you'll live a further development of Metroidvania where you'll run through winding scenarios with only your map to guide you as it is generated on the spot. You'll find improvements for your equipment and suit that'll allow you to beat obstacles that appear suddenly along the way. AM2R is an awesome game that works seamlessly with today's PCs and Windows. Although its aesthetics will take you back to times long gone on 16 bit consoles; its mechanics and development are still current. Definitely a fan game worth keeping an eye on, and that has nothing to envy when compared with today's officially commercialized video games.

Instead of just one type of ghost, there are three: one that can go through your bombs, another that throws fireballs, and another that runs faster than you. You have to fight through all these challenges throughout the different levels that make up the game. You can also accept optional challenges, like trying to link up the greatest possible number of balls in a row. Chompston is an entertaining arcade game with nice graphics and a gameplay that's easy to learn but difficult to master.

Bloodline Champions is an action game featuring also strategy role-playing in which you battle against players from all around the world to check who is the strongest. The gameplay reminds you the classic League of Legends, in the sense that your goal is to destroy the opponent as soon as possible, and prevent him to do the same with our heroes. There are no resources, no bases, no levels, just pure and simple action against our enemies. At your disposal you have more than twenty different heroes, each with their own special skills and style. Some, for example, can cast powerful spells of fire which swept large areas, and others will be much more versed in individual murder. Best of all is that depending on how you are doing in you fighting, the game will assign rivals at a level similar to yours. Thus you rarely find fighting against someone who may wipe you off the map in two minutes ... or someone who does not pose the slightest challenge. The graphics of Bloodline Champions, although not very spectacular, fulfill its role to perfection. They have an air of caricature, and thanks to those not state-of-the-art graphics the game will run smoothly on any computer. Bloodline Champions is a very entertaining title that mixes genres to perfection to provide the player a delicious cocktail. It is also free, so it is worth a try.

Intrusion 2 is the perfect combination of action and 2D platform game. By taking all the best elements from the classic 16-bit era games for a retro feel, and adding some modern touches of brutality, this game provides a unique experience that has the power to leave its audience reeling. The gameplay is somewhat reminiscent of classic games such as Ghosts'n'Goblins, Metal Slug and Strider, with 2D landscapes to race through while using various weapons to see off all the enemies that get in your way. The difference of course is that in Intrusion 2, physics takes on an even greater importance. For example, you can grab boxes and throw them to kill your enemies, or use a hook to drag them closer before administering the killer blow. In some of the levels, you get to use various vehicles and robots that give you the chance to move around the screen in a machine of mass destruction killing hundreds of enemies, and thus having even more fun. Along with the normal enemies, of course, you can also find some bosses that take up most of the screen and prove to be far more difficult to dispose of. Intrusion 2 is a hilarious arcade title that emulates the games from fifteen years ago whilst adding a modern twist to further increase the fun. Reeling in enemies with a hook in order to spear them with your sword while riding around in a giant robot, what more could you want?

This is a new concept in martial arts combat games in which you control the joints in a virtual character to make him carry out impossible moves. As you combine relaxing and contracting different muscles and joints, the character's limbs respond accordingly by moving whichever way you want them to move. By combining several moves, you’ll be able to carry out spectacular locks and chokeholds that could end up dismembering your opponent. You can continue making moves as long as you have animation frames left over. Don’t be shocked if you see your opponent’s head or arms go flying through the air after you carry out a lethal combo. Not suitable for children, Toribash doesn’t let a single drop of blood go to waste, splashing it all over the screen. The best part of the game is, without a doubt, the possibility of being able to play online with other players. Each victory will award you with points which you can trade in at the virtual store for new skills and features for your virtual character.

Cacto Loco is a traditional arcade game where you play a moving cactus that will have to make its way through different levels shooting its spines at every enemy that shows up. Cacto Loco's story is definitely the most bizarre thing about the game. Two lovers spending a lovely afternoon together are surprised by a shaman who, for no apparent reason, turns the man into a cactus and scares the woman away. A couple of years later, when the curse begins to fade away, the man is finally able to move (albeit still as a cactus) and runs off in search of his love. The gameplay, all cacti aside, will probably remind you of Gun Smoke. You'll have to make your way through levels brimming with enemies from an overhead view while you kill them all. Simple, effective and fun. Cacto Loco is a very entertaining traditional arcade that has not only a bizarre story and lovely pixelated graphics but also an addictive gameplay where skill is the most important thing of all.

Another Bird is a clone of Flappy Bird in the style of Another World. Your job is to guide the eagle from Another World through a series of pillars, trying to get as far as you can. Gameplay in Another Bird is identical to that in Flappy Bird. That means that you need to press your space bar to make your eagle fly, maintaining a steady rhythm to that it can pass safely through the holes in each pipe. It sounds easy, but it's absolutely not. The only real difference between Another Bird and Flappy Bird is its visual design, which abandons the retro style of Flappy Bird for some polished graphics that recall Another World, a classic game from the 90s. Another Bird is a perfect Flappy Bird clone, with the same gameplay dressed up in much more attractive graphics.
