Union

Union.dev

3 (1016)

Union is a turn-based strategy game set in a not-too-distant future where you control a group called The Union, an NGO fighting the big corporations that dominate the world. The game's story, then, is centered around global issues; over time, the Earth has been divided between four large corporations. Only you can keep things from getting worse. Once you begin to play, you can control three different characters in turns. Each of the three has its own action items and special abilities, so you'll have to be smart in order to use them wisely. One, for example, has very few action items but is best for close-range attacks. Another can go very long distances to draw enemy fire away. Graphically speaking, Union is nothing fancy, but it takes place in an interesting version of the future that is in some ways reminiscent of the Mass Effect saga. Union is a turn-based strategy game with touches of role. It's not very long, but the gaming experience is consistent.

Free Fire (GameLoop)

GameLoop

3 (1092)

The GameLoop tool from the Tencent studio lets you run Android games on PC. This installer downloads its own emulator along with the Free Fire (GameLoop), letting you play on Windows by adapting its control system to mouse and keyboard. You don't need any special knowledge, as the tool automatically installs everything you need to play itself. The development of Free Fire (GameLoop) is very similar to almost any other battle royale, such as PUBG or Fortnite. All players must jump off a plane with a parachute and land on an island. As soon as you land, you must run around the island to find weapons while other players attack you. Plus, you need to be careful because the island's force field will keep getting smaller and smaller. If it reaches you, it'll be game over for you. Luckily, you can also use vehicles if you're ever left behind. The main difference between Free Fire (GameLoop) and other games of the same genre is that there are "only" 50 players instead of the usual 100. As you may already imagine, the duration of the games will be adjusted accordingly. Instead of lasting thirty minutes, most games will last about 15 minutes. If you really think about it, when you play a single game of PUBG, you can play two games of Free Fire (GameLoop). Free Fire (GameLoop) is a battle royale that offers a fun and addictive gaming experience. As you can see in the screenshots, the game has less powerful visuals than other games of the genre, which is not necessarily bad. Thanks to its modest visuals, this game works perfectly on low-powered computers.

Among the objects scattered around the city, you'll also find many pieces to improve it. DoomRL

DoomRL is a `roguelike´ set in the Doom universe, in which we will have to venture into randomly generated dungeons, and kill as many demons as we can before its them that end our existence... something inevitable in this genre. The game is made up of 25 random levels; this means that if we overcome the 25 levels we will `win the game´ although they will be different most times so we will very seldom feel like we are repeating a scene. One thing, we will occasionally find `special´ levels which have more than one surprise. As expected from a Doom `roguelike´, in the game we will find the whole arsenal of traditional weapon´s from this franchise, as well as practically all the enemies to which we are so accustomed. The special items are of course, there as well, and even some new ones have been added for the occasion. As we go along killing enemies, our character will move up a level. Each time we do this we will gain more abilities, which will be essential to overcome the enemies from lower levels, who won´t allow us to make even the slightest mistake. Regarding the graphical and audio section DoomRL is wonderful. The game uses the original sounds from Doom and the graphics have been created by Derek Yu, using an excellent pixeled style. DoomRL is an outstanding `rouguelike´, which thanks to the different levels of difficulty it includes will allow us to enjoy relatively simple experiences as well as authentic hell which will burn our eyes and melt our finger tips.

Nightfall

Nightfall AI

Nightfall is a roguelike where you play the co-pilot of a tiny spaceship that has mysteriously crushed into an asteroid. When you go out to the surface, your character discovers that the asteroid is inhabited by an unknown and dangerous life form. Besides this murderous alien life form, you also have to take into account the asteroid's movement. Each second that passes, it moves away from the sun, so darkness begins to fall quickly from the left of the screen. If it reaches you, you'll be dead in seconds. The action in Nightfall is turn-based. Both the movement of your character as well as the battles are solved following a simple system. And as usual, you can use all kinds of weapons and objects, including first aid kits, which are super necessary to maintain your health. Nightfall is an RPG with conventional gameplay but a really original storyline and setting. The closest reference to it, in fact, would probably be Pitch Black, an excellent science fiction movie.

Tale of Maledict is an adventure platform game. In it, you control a brave young man who decides to go to the woods in search of his missing father, armed with just a stick. The game unfolds in a series of two-dimensional scenarios which you'll have to explore. At first, you can only explore the forest, but as the story progresses, you'll discover new locations underground and indoors. To play, you just have to jump from platform to platform, killing your enemies with your stick. Of course, from time to time, you'll also have to talk with other characters who can help you reach the end of the story. Tale of Maledict is, visually speaking, an impressive game. It's full of contrast, and the protagonist always stands out against the dark backgrounds. While the graphics are very nice, however, the animations are a little rough. The jumping motion, for example, leaves a lot to be desired. Tale of Maledict is a remarkable game, and although it's a little short, the story is interesting. Likewise, although the animations are pretty rough, the game is gorgeous overall.

Octodad

4 (830)

Octodad is a very strange game, and is difficult to place in any one genre in particular. The reason for this is that your goal throughout the game is to perform simple tasks like turning off your alarm clock or picking up an object with a tentacle. Of course, carrying out these seemingly routine tasks may seem easy enough for a normal person, but it is a different story altogether for an octopus. And this is where the gameplay in Octodad takes shape, you can control each of the octopus´ tentacles independently... with all the complications that entails. The best way to visualise the control system in Octodad is to compare it with the role of a puppeteer. The problem is that, along with the usual awkwardness of controlling a puppet, you also have to take care of the children and carry out tasks such as clothing them... at the end of the day your new favourite octopus is a great dad above all else. Graphically, Octodad is a really beautiful game and thanks to its 'cartoon' look and its colourful graphics, the game manages to be very pleasing on the eye. It also has support for resolutions up to 1920x1080. Octodad is one of the most original independent games of recent years, as proven by the huge number of awards it has won at a number of gaming festivals. Best of all is that it is not just a truly original title, but a really entertaining one.

Pink Pony

4 (529)

Pink Pony is a video game in which you play as a pink pony galloping through an idyllic island with green meadows and crystal blue water... as it competes against another pony in a Tron-style race. Basically, the gameplay of this childish-seeming game is based on the classic movie from the 80s. To play, you try to use the wake of your pony to cut off the path of your opponent, blocking the other pony and winning the competition. Pink Pony has achieved something pretty special in terms of its graphics, especially when you consider that it only takes up a mere 15 megabytes of space on your hard drive. The pony is well-modeled and the setting is very pretty, although the special effects (like when you cut off the other pony) could be cooler. Pink Pony is a little strange, mostly because its graphics make it look like it's intended for children. Its gameplay and references to Tron, however, are good reasons for veteran players to check it out.

House Death is a game about... dying... and your character will die a lot. As soon as you start playing the game, you'll see that House Death isn't a normal game - for starters, its soundtrack is performed by the author of the game, humming. The next sign that all is not normal here is that practically anything you do with your character winds up killing him. Try to do something with a rock: dead. Try to touch a barrel: dead. Try to touch a tree trunk: dead. Try to walk where you shouldn't: dead. The third and last clue that you're playing a special game is found in the death screen, which shows a series of blinking images in an attempt to bother you as much as possible, along with some accompanying music. House Death is as frustrating as it is entertaining. It may often seem unfair, but in exchange you get some truly funny situations. To really enjoy it, we recommend playing it together with a friend or two.

Arcane Saga Online is a massive multiplayer role-player, set in the world of Prius, a place cursed by the wrath of the King of the Gods, and that has been waiting generations to be freed by the chosen one. The chosen one, of course, could be you. Players can create their character from scratch by choosing from four different races, these differ from the races traditionally found in these games completely. Nothing of elves, orcs, dwarves or humans here, instead you find four totally unique breeds. Then players will have to choose from one of the seven classes available, and customize your 'soul mate', a spirit that will accompany you at all times through the game. Once you begin to play you find the usual stuff you get in any MMORPG: a huge open world to explore, dozens of NPCs with useful information for the player, lots of 'quests', each differing slightly from each other, that ask you to recover artefacts or kill enemies, and of course, hundreds of enemies ready to be killed and give you experience and objects. What sets Arcane Saga Online apart is the class system and combos. This system will enable us to continue picking new classes as you go through the levels, and incorporate their skills to your list of combos. In this way we can customize our attacks to levels rarely seen in the genre. Arcane Saga Online is a really well realised MMORPG: it has very good graphics, a more than decent soundtrack and a dynamic combat system that goes beyond constantly clicking on some icons.

Boobie Beach is a two-dimensional volleyball game in which two ladies face off in one-on-one games in the water, using their chest instead of their hands, as would be normal... and logical... and practical. You can choose between six different girls to play with. Each one has her own attributes (in the strictest sense of the word), which are: bust size, bounce (of chest), and dynamism. Depending on these facts, the ball will bounce in one direction or the other when it hits her chest. You can enjoy Boobie Beach in single-player mode playing against artificial intelligence in one-off games or tournaments, or in the company of a friend in two-player mode from the same computer. Visually speaking, Boobie Beach is perfectly hand-drawn, with great attention to detail when it comes to the pectoral region of its protagonists, where practically nothing is left to the imagination. Some thought has clearly been put into the physics of these ladies' breasts as well. Boobie Beach is a surprisingly entertaining sports (?) game that actually manages to offer something different from other games more typical of the genre.

Fallen Earth

Fallen Earth is a multiplayer role game set in the year 2156, in a world that has been completely devastated by nuclear war. The adventure takes place in one of the few inhabitable places left on Earth: the Grand Canyon, a dangerous place where you must fight to survive. The first aspect of Fallen Earth that calls your attention is that during the creation of the main characters, even though there are many possibilities to customize them as you wish, you won't find any information on the class of a given character. This is because there are no classes. Instead, Fallen Earth uses an entirely skills-based system that allows you to personalize your character, seemingly without limits. This freedom to create, and above all to develop, the character is a reflection of what Fallen Earth offers: an open world where you can do anything you wish in order to survive, including looting camp sites, collecting goods, making different things, attacking other players, trading with urban characters, talking with other citizens or participating in any of the dynamic events that take place each. The combat system, in addition, is very dynamic. Despite being a role-playing game, Fallen Earth offers game mechanics that are at once direct and entertaining. As a result, your character may not survive if you throw him or her hastily into action, without taking necessary precautions such as going out well-equipped and, if possible, going out in the company of your own clan. Fallen Earth is a MMORPG that is particularly interesting for fans of franchises like Fallout, since the post-apocalyptic setting, as well as other elements of the game, remind you very much of said saga.

Return to the Sky might seem like an automatic platformer where you only have to worry about jumping, but it's not. It's actually a traditional platformer where you have to dodge the holes, jump from wall to wall, and even catch a ride on the breeze. Return to the Sky is a fun platformer. Your mission is simply to visit the different works on exhibit and comment on them with your female character's two friends. The comments you make regarding the works will change your companions' comments, but beyond that they won't have much of an impact. The most interesting thing in Limits and Demonstration is that it serves as a demonstration, visually above all, of what Kentucky Route Zero can offer. And what is Kentucky Route Zero? The game, commercial this time around, developed by the same indie studio. Limits and Demonstrations is a very pleasant visual experience. Although it doesn't convey all the sensations that one might desire, the result is still rather thought-provoking.

Once this is done, you start to play according to Ultimate Team rules, which means using players from envelopes of soccer cards. You take players from soccer card envelopes to build your team. You can buy bronze, silver or gold envelopes, for which you will, of course, need coins. You can either buy these coins with real money, or win them in games, which is more fun. Players will really enjoy experiencing FIFA World's excellent simulations during the games. The mechanics aren't as refined as those of FIFA 14, but it is still a striking soccer simulator where you can stop the ball, make long passes, lob and balance the ball, feint, and much more. FIFA World offers an outstanding playing experience that is very close to that of the original FIFA 14, but it's completely free. In addition, of all the modes included in the original game, Ultimate Team is probably the most addictive.
