LBreakout2 is a game very similar to Breakout,the game released in 1976 that was the base to another famous game called Arkanoid and that, for sure you remember. In LBreakout2 you control a space vessel and you'll see a ball bouncing on the screen, you have to move the vessel to make the ball bounce on it and send it to destroy the bricks placed above. When the ball touches a brick it disappears. Sometimes when you destroy a brick, it frees an object, if you get it, you'll power up your vessel with extra bals, extra lives, energy, weapons and more. It seems to be easy at first, but it gets harder and harder, and, as you know, a game of that kind can keep you hooked for hours, that's why it offers you more than 50 levels in the original mode and some more ones created by the users. Finally, you can create your own levels, include them in the game and share them with the rest of users... it's easy and really funny.

You can also be a Roman centurion, a mechanic, a cyclops, a DJ or a knight. So that the enormous number of characters that you can find along the way in LEGO Minifigures Online fit in with their surroundings, you can visit a bunch of different environments that belong to the LEGO universe: from a place full of pirates to a futuristic space station or even a medieval world. LEGO Minifigurines Online is an MMORPG aimed mainly at a young audience, with gameplay similar to a most other LEGO games. However, this version focuses on interacting with other players on the Internet and collecting loads of LEGO figures along the way.

All of your player's moves are controlled with your mouse: your character moves faster or slower depending on how far away from him you place your mouse pointer, and to shoot and pass you'll need to use the left button on your mouse. It’s really that easy to score some goals. You'll be able to play a few loose matches that'll allow you to enjoy the game's mechanics with no registration, but if you want to experience something more, then you will have to register yourself. That way, you'll be able to manage your team and compare yourself to other players from around the world. The game engine, with its 3D character models and its realistic physics, makes the matches a true spectacle in spite of the easy game play. The graphics, though not other-worldly, manage to hit the spot. Power Soccer is a very entertaining soccer simulator. It's not very realistic, but it doesn’t claim to be so either. If what you want is to spend some time scoring goals and shooting around, then this is the game for you.

You'll have more than thirty characters to choose from. At first, your only options are the original Avengers - in other words, Thor, Iron Man, Hulk, Hawkeye, or Spider Man - but it's not long before you gain access to Nightcrawler, War Machine, and Colossus, among others. Marvel First Alliance has four different playing modes. In all, you can visit eight different zones divided into more than twenty levels packed full of enemies, including some special bosses. In addition to the thirty playable characters, you'll come across other helpful characters along your adventure that are sure to lend you a hand. Marvel First Alliance is a fun arcade game where you can play as some of the most famous Marvel characters ever created. Not only that, but you can recruit your friends to play in a cooperative multiplayer mode with up to three characters.

AstroMenace is a classic spaceship arcade game in which you'll have to advance through an invisible corridor with your ship located on the bottom part of the screen while tons of enemies appear on the top part. The game is divided into fifteen levels in which you must demonstrate your skills at dodging projectiles fired at you from dozens of different enemy ships which you will find along the campaign. Fortunately, you'll have a great arsenal of all kinds of weapons which you can choose at the beginning of each mission to fight your enemies with. Also, during the course of the missions, you’ll be able to collect a series of aids that will allow you to launch more devastating attacks. AstroMenace comes with two very different game modes: arcade and simulation. In the first one you can afford to make mistakes, while in the second one you'll have to dodge all the enemy attacks if you want to survive each one of the missions. AstroMenace is a very fun spaceship game that, in spite of having relatively modern graphics with dozens of simultaneous special effects, still offers a traditional gameplay that is more fitting of arcade machine games than modern computers.

This way, you'll be able to overcome increasingly difficult challenges to make your character stronger and stronger. Grand Fantasia is your typical everyday MMORPG with a customary gameplay, but a very fun anime look that fans of this genre will surely love.

Rising Thunder is a 2D robot fighting game, inspired mainly by the excellent game, Street Fighter IV from Capcom. Thematically, it's very similar to other games like Rise of the Robots, or even films like Real Steel. But once you start playing, it's impossible not to be reminded of Street Fighter. The gameplay is typical for a fighting game. You can move your character from side to side, jump, crouch, and, of course, employ several different attacks. Also, each fighter has different combos and unique special attacks. You can test your moves in practice mode, but you'll find the real action fighting online. In this game version, there are six very different fighters. There's a robot for everybody: strong and slow, fast and weak, or somewhere in the middle. Choose the one that best fits your fighting style. Also, before you start fighting, you can customize your robot with different accessories. Rising Thunder is a 2D fighting game with a gameplay that's accessible, but also has some depth. The visuals are excellent and look even better on more powerful computers. And, of course, you can play using any controller you have connected to your PC (the Xbox 360 controller doesn't even require special configuration).

The Darkest Words

The Darkest Words is a first-person horror game in which players control a delivery man who, after delivering a package to a mysterious institution, becomes involved in a story full of terror, death and gunfire. Upon entering the building you realize that something serious is happening when you see several dead bodies on the ground. A suicide note and a gun lets you know what you need to do... which actually consists of finding keys and opening doors. You must be careful during your tour of this strange institution as you will occasionally encounter strange apparitions and weird creatures. Fortunately, you get a gun and some ammunition to defend yourself from attacks, which often make you jump out of your skin. The Darkest Words is a first-person shooter with some horror elements, and although it is quite short (the main quest does not last more than twenty minutes), it does provide an experience full of real frights and moments of terror.

Nightmare House 2 is a first-person terror and action game based on the Half Life 2 engine in which you have to penetrate an environment more terrifying than you've ever experienced, and try to survive (if you can) your worst nightmare. Throughout the adventure, which isn't very long, you will witness all kinds of horrific things that threaten your character. Luckily, you'll have a firearm here and there that will help you face the horror with a clean shot. Your objective in the game is to figure out to what point what you're experiencing is just in the character's head, and to what point what you're experiencing is actually happening. The terrifying environment full of scares of course won't help you discern reality from imagination at all. Nightmare House 2 is a terrifying game that, despite its focus on fear, also offers a good amount of action, in which you'll have to put all your energy, with a machine gun in hand, into surviving.

Level one of Truck Loader 3's 30 levels is a tutorial that shows you how to play: use the direction buttons to move your robot forwards or backwards, and left click and hold to activate your robot's magnetic claw. You can move the claw from side to side with the mouse in order to position it precisely. The process is the same on each level: click to pick up a box and then take it to the truck. However, picking up the box is usually not so easy and getting it to the truck is much more difficult. Along the way, you'll find other buttons that open or close doors that lead to mazes, narrow hallways that are hard to get through, and other complicated obstacles. Once you get to the truck, you'll have to put the box in the exact location that's been reserved for it. The first levels show you the problems you'll have to face. So, take a look around while you're playing and remember what you see since it may help you out on the next level. Truck Loader 3 is a fun brainteaser that will give you hours of challenging fun.

However, if you have a little bit of patience and review the tutorial, you will be able to create an automobile company that is successful all around the world.

King of Dragon Pass is a role-playing, strategy, management and adventure game set in Glorantha (the world of HeroQuest and RuneQuest), where you have to guide your clan on the good path, whether that means crushing all of your enemies or simply peacefully surviving. The game is divided in several parts with distinct mechanics. For example, you'll pass a bit of time managing relations between your clan and neighboring clans, which can be done through a series of pretty intuitive menus where you can choose exactly what you want to do. However, it will also be common that you'll go through events that you'll have to resolve with classic games of "choose your own adventure": choosing the option that you consider correct from a series of possibilities. The best part of the game, of course, is the enormous quantity of background behind the story that it tells, which if your English is good enough will amaze you. As you can see from the images, the game doesn't have traditionally "outstanding graphics", but that everything is made up of static illustrations. The style used, of course, is not only quite good, but it also perfectly fits with the feel of the game. King of Dragon Pass is a great game that is independently capable of giving you hours and hours of fun. Of course, you will need a good knowledge of English and a lot of patience to enjoy it, as it is not a very accessible game.

Go back 30 years and enjoy the game you used to enjoy when you were a child. Namco All Stars Pac-Man arrives in your PC to let you apart from the real world for some hours. Avoid the ghosts Pinky, Inky Blinky and Clyde while you eat up all the white spots. If you happen to eat one of the bigger spots, the ghosts will get blue, that's the moment to chase them and win extra points. Finally, while you play, you can view updated statistics of your games: points, distance, eaten ghosts and the name of the ghost that has killed you more times.

The game has twenty-five different missions where you can explore the ocean floor as much as you'd like while you fish for the species you've been tasked with. In order to do so, you'll use a harpoon, with which you will have to aim, fire and, most importantly, fight against the fish's strength as you try to bring it in. In addition to the basic levels, the game also has other modes, such as the treasure-hunting mode, where you have to find treasure hidden at the bottom of the sea, or the free exploration mode, where you can simply take pleasure in the different landscapes that the game offers. Depth Hunter has outstanding graphics, which makes it easy to spend hours and hours wandering around the ocean floor admiring the beautiful marine flora and fauna.

SpaceChem is a complex puzzle game where you play a space engineer who works at SpaceChem, a company specialized in transforming raw materials into chemicals suitable for human use. The gameplay is relatively complex, and it can be overwhelming when you first begin your adventure as a space engineer. As soon as you complete the tutorial and get the hang of moving atoms on your circuits, however, the game becomes a whirlwind of fun. SpaceChem includes more than 50 different levels that will test your intelligence, each one accompanied by an excellent original soundtrack specially composed for this game. SpaceChem is a fun game. It's not for everyone, but if you love difficult and complex mechanical puzzles, you'll probably be a fan.

StarForge is an intriguing game that combines elements from various genres to create an experience that is different from most anything else we've played up until now. It's a free game that allows you to modify the scenery to your liking, in pure Minecraft style, creating building from scratch or digging tunnels beneath a mountain... but that also pits you against your friends or other enemies as though you were playing a multiplayer game of Halo. At the moment the game is still in early development stages, so it's a little unstable, though it already includes really interesting features and the promise of more to come, like riding vehicles, battling against tons of players, and the ability to really work wonders with the scenery. At the visual level, StarForge stands out, and although it is being developed by a team of just two people, it looks and feels just like any other modern release. StarForge is a fun, unique game. It's still too early to say if it will be one of the great independent games of the last few years, but it certainly has the potential to be.

Mortal Kombat Defenders of the Earth is a fangame that brings back characters from the 2D installments of the popular saga from Midway. Best of all, it makes sure to add some additional original content that's never been seen before in the classic titles. The game, based on the fangame Mortal Kombat Project, uses the well-known MUGEN engine to create an ultimate fighting game. Among other things, it stands out for offering a higher resolution in the settings, showing smaller fighters and enabling more dynamic action for partnered fights. In these, up to four fighters can participate simultaneously in the combat. Mortal Kombat Defenders of the Earth provides an enormous roster made up of 50 fighters, including some familiar faces like Sub-Zero, Liu Kang and Shang Tsung. You'll also find others created for the occasion coming from post-MK Trilogy games, like Frost, Kensi or even some that have never even been part of any video games from the saga. Inevitably, the game includes the well-known Fatalities and all their variants, as well as all kinds of special moves, new settings for the occasion and the usual MUGEN engine game modes: arcade, versus, cooperative, survival, and training. Without a doubt, this is one of the most complete fangames set in the Mortal Kombat saga that you can find.

This time, you can compete in one-on-one battles featuring characters from these two unique universes. This game has twenty-two characters taken from both the worlds of DC Comics and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. As well as the four famous turtles, this game also has other well-known characters from their universe such as April O'neil and Shredder. On the other hand, there are also popular characters from the DC universe, such as Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, and even some villains like DarkSeid and Despero. Although this game has some original sprites and soundtracks, most of its content is taken from two popular 16-bit games: TNMT Tournament Fighters and Justice League Task Force. Although those games come from two different studios (Konami and Acclaim) the color palette has been mortified and integrated with the scenes to perfectly combine the two universes. As well as a classic arcade game mode, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles vs Justice League also has a local multiplayer mode, a training mode, and a special game mode in which you play as a random character.

Vroom! is a racing game in which the players put themselves behind the wheel of a truck and speed off down the racetrack to run over zombies and compete on different circuits. This version of the game for Windows (the original is for iOS) includes only three different racetracks and only one vehicle (the protagonist's blue truck), but in spite of the scarcity of options it offers a good dose of fun thanks to its very playable concept, very similar to the mythic Carmageddon. The objective of every race is to arrive at the finish line in the least time possible, and on the way running over as many zombies as you can find in your path, dispatching them spectacularly as they fly off the road, blood-spattered. The game's physics engine helps greatly with this, as it does with our control of the vehicle. Vroom! is a really fun racing game that, although short and a bit lacking in gameplay modes, offers graphics and a mechanism that almost reach a professional level.

MotoGP 08 for the first time offers the possibility to compete in the different motorcycle championships at stake (125, 250 and MotoGP). Great graphics and a dose of reality with a great sound atmosphere make you feel the excitement of the asphalt. Accelerate when you see the light go off for the power to scrape seconds off that will allow you take better position. When braking hurry and overtake your opponent in the first corner, from there choose to follow the path of your competitors until you see the moment when they break, then give your motor the maximum, and throw your bike to victory. MotoGP 08 offers different game modes: single race, championship, and an exciting career mode in which you will try to look good for the best teams in the different categories to notice you until you get to ride the best bikes in the premier class. It includes all the riders, bikes and official tracks, so you can feel like Rossi, Pedrosa, Bautista, Hayden and many others.

DuckStation is a PlayStation/PSX/PS1 emulator for Windows 10 (although it can also run on Windows 8), which aims to offer an experience that's as close as possible to the original titles. This means you'll be able to enjoy some of the most important classics from the 32-bit era, on your desktop or laptop. The first thing you'll need to do before you can properly enjoy the emulator, is extract or download the ROM of the PlayStation BIOS. This isn't a difficult process; in fact, you'll be able to find plenty of tutorials on how to do it, but it is absolutely necessary in order to be able to play any of the PSOne titles. Once you've loaded the BIOS, the fun can begin. Before loading any game it's a good idea to take a look at the configuration options DuckStation has to offer. You'll find more than twenty different settings to adjust, enable or disable to make your games look better or worse. By default, all games will look exactly the same as on the Sony console. However, all it takes is a few little tweaks to improve the resolution or activate post-processing effects. Changing the resolution can be especially useful on large monitors. It's also important to take a look at the control options. By default, the controls are the basic "WASD" and the numeric keypad, but of course, you can change it to suit your personal preferences. You'll be able to continue using the keyboard, but with other keys; or even use your PlayStation or Xbox controller. Ultimately, the most important thing is that you're comfortable while playing. DuckStation is an excellent PlayStation emulator for Windows, that makes it possible to play some of the best video games in history.
